CCAT Collaboration Meeting (CCM5)

The fifth annual CCAT Collaboration Meeting (CCM5) will be held from June 26-28, 2024 at the University of Toronto. The CCAT-prime Observatory (www.ccatobservatory.org) features the Fred Young Submillimeter Telescope (FYST) which is currently under construction. FYST will be a 6-meter diameter, 10-micron surface precision telescope working at submillimeter to millimeter wavelengths. It will operate in survey mode only and first light is expected in late 2025.

Our Collaboration Meetings bring together the CCAT partnership and all astronomers who might be interested in submillimeter and millimeter science using CCAT-prime. This is the fifth of our Collaboration Meetings.

CCM5 will incorporate a series of discussions about the forthcoming observatory, including updates on the state of the collaboration, observatory software and data archiving, instruments, and early science plans for 2025 and 2026.

The meeting will also provide updates on the technical aspects of the project including status of the instrumentation and telescope.  A preliminary program can be viewed here.

REGISTER HERE.  June 27th dinner signup is now closed.

This meeting will be held both in person at the University of Toronto and on-line using Zoom. Details of connections and logistics will be sent to registered members via email.
